Answer #1:

excuse us - we look to your markets to see what will happen but NOT for leadership thankyou very much! We are sitting pretty comfortably here without following your every move and thats the way we like it.

Answer #2:

"leeders" R braen ded

Answer #3:

I think you have a misconception on what is meant by financial leadership. Of course America will survive and it will return much faster than the rest of the world. That is the only reason that they look at what American markets are doing. It has nothing to do with America acting on their behalf or in their interest.

Answer #4:

Since when have our leaders been responsible to all world citizens?? American leadership is responsible to American citizens. The world's citizens have their own leadership.
All countries act in their own best interests. #$%^^%% the world.

The u.s. has suffered many panic's in the past, and managed to survive them. What is so different about this one?? We have many systems to help us survive these - Federal Deposit Insurance Corp (protects bank deposits), Securities & Investor Protection Corp (protects brokerage customers), SEC (makes sure the stock market plays fair -mostly), Federal Reserve - regulates the money supply.

These are just some of the things I can think of. And of course there are others. Our system(s) were designed to be resilient.
